A lazy day, waiting to board our night bus down to Shimla. Decided we needed a proper day of rest before the next 24 hours of buses, trains and automobiles!! Spent the day in our favourite cafe, soaking up the view of Triund, whilst eating food, drinking tea, reading our books and playing board games. Still sat outside, although we can feel the fog slowly start to descend as the air becomes moist. Just had a huge meal of pasta and gnocchi (needed a break from Indian food).
About to get the local bus to the nearby town to catch our night bus. Aiming to get the UNESCO World Heritage Toy Train in the morning down from Shimla to Kalka before continuing to Chandigarh – keep your fingers crossed for us that our plans run smoothly!
