Woke up in the delightful SherpaLand hotel, in a real bed with proper sheets! Jayne is not feeling too well – think she must have eaten something that didn’t agree with her so she rested while I had a cold shower and tended to my feet that are totally destroyed from trekking in the rain 2 days ago. Ate breakfast at the hotel before heading to the local market. A strange mis-mash of produce for sale, almost like the worlds weirdest jumble sale. 
However, the meat hall looked interesting… Jayne felt too queasy to go in so I gave it a miss too, heading back to the hotel via a few shops for prayer flags, prayer scarves and some food items. Jayne spent the rest of the day sleeping and resting whilst I read some trashy books. Woke Jayne up for dinner and made her eat plain toast and scrambled egg whilst I ate spaghetti bolognese and chatted to Mark (the other Trekker we have gotten to know). He is continuing to EBC tomorrow but we’ll stay here until Jayne is feeling better.
